The training will take place from Wednesday 11th until Tuesday 17th of March 2026 in Stone Town, the beautiful historic capital of Zanzibar.

During this 6-day gathering, we will come together to explore, learn, and share knowledge & rituals around birth care.

This program will be led by birth workers & traditional midwives from East Africa and Europe, where together we will create a space for deep connection, learning, and sharing of wisdom and rituals around childbirth and postpartum care.

This is more than a birth keeper's training — it's a circle of learning, honoring, and reclaiming deep ancestral birth wisdom.

We welcome birth workers, midwives, doulas, expectant parents, and anyone interested to learn more about birth so karibuni wote!

For those interested in becoming certified, we offer the option of becoming a Certified Doula with Red Tent Doulas UK where you will receive online sessions, a woman-led home study guide, a reading list containing lots of resources, and access to Vimeo lessons with guest teachers for $350
